    LEGO Dinosaurs

The biggest one measures 70 cm (27.6 in) from jaws to tail, and its mouth opens. The smallest is a 188-piece pteranodon skeleton on its museum stand. In between, there is plenty to choose from.

Brick dinosaurs that hold their pose

These dinosaurs are also part of our LEGO Animals collection, where you will find big cats, birds and sea life.

Are these dinosaurs compatible with LEGO® bricks?

Yes. All the bricks in this collection are standard size and fit with those of the major brands, including the ones you already have at home. To be perfectly clear, though: these are not LEGO® products. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse these models, and is not responsible for how they are used.

    Which dinosaur should you choose?

The T-Rex if you want the piece that can be seen from across the room: it is the largest model in the shop. The skeletons if you would rather start small: six dinosaurs to choose from, 188 to 317 pieces each, every one on its museum stand. The triceratops if you are after some color: it is the only orange one, when all the others are brown, gray or bone.

Do they have sound or batteries?

No, none. No sound module, no batteries, nothing electronic, on any dinosaur in this collection. Everything is posed by hand, and whatever you set stays put. Some supplier spec sheets claim otherwise: they are wrong, we checked the models.

How much space do you need?

Check your shelf before ordering the big ones. The T-Rex takes up 70 cm (27.6 in) in length and 24 cm (9.4 in) in height, the mosasaurus 56.5 cm (22.2 in) in length, and both spread out rather than up. The skeletons stand between 16 and 32 cm (6.3 and 12.6 in) and fit anywhere.

    What age are they for?

Ages 8 and up. The pieces are small and the builds long, but no single step is hard: it takes patience, not technique. Every product page shows the piece count and the time to plan for.
