The creature that started the nightmare aboard the Nostromo

In Ridley Scott's Alien, the first form of the creature is not the towering xenomorph. It is this: a pale, spider-like thing that leaps from an egg and clamps onto a crew member's face. Decades later, the facehugger is still one of the most unsettling designs in sci-fi horror.

This 564-piece model rebuilds it in beige bricks, with eight long segmented legs spread wide and a tail that tapers to a point. It is a satisfying afternoon build and a striking display piece for any fan of the saga. Just maybe do not leave it on someone's pillow.

    • 564 pieces to build an Alien facehugger, building instructions included
    • Beige bricks, eight segmented legs and a long tail
    • ABS bricks with standard studs, compatible with major brick brands
    • Ages 8 and up. Contains small parts.
